The global radio frequency front end market is anticipated to reach $69.9 billion by 2031, growing from $18.8 billion in 2021, at a CAGR of 13.8% from 2022 to 2031.
RF front end involves a device or module that contains all of the circuitry between the antenna and at least one mixing stage of a receiver, as well as possibly the transmitter’s power amplifier. They are used in numerous RF products and applications. Wireless systems and FM radio systems are two examples.
The radio frequency (RF) front end module in a radio receiver circuit is the circuit that connects the antenna and mixer. The receiver’s components that handle the initial incoming signal before it is changed to a lower intermediate frequency make up the RF front end module (IF). It is made up of a mixer, band pass RF filter, local oscillator, and RF amplifier. Additionally, it keeps the input stages from becoming saturated by potent out-of-band signals. The sensitivity of the receiver is increased by boosting weak signals without polluting them with noise using an RF amplifier/low-noise amplifier (LNA).
